Mercedes Comand NTG5/5.1 Multimedia Video Interface with Digital Radio & Digital TV control via the original MB Comand Controller.

The new V4X Multimedia Video Interface takes multimedia integration to the next level by offering a range of additional features. Not only can you connect any video source to your original factory fitted display (such as DVD player, TV Tuner, iPod Video, games console etc) ; it also allows you to control Digital TV and/or Digital Radio (DAB) via the original Comand controller for a fully integrated solution.

It features a dedicated rear camera input with dynamic parking guidelines that automatically displays on your screen when the car is in reverse. It also displays dynamic parking guidelines (showing the position of the vehicle) and retains your original parking sensors.

The interface does not replace your existing system but simply offers perfect integration to maintain your OEM appearance.

Features
  • Watch any video source to your Mercedes Comand screen
  • 2 x Video inputs for connecting any Video source to your original Screen.
  • When combined with our Digital TV (DVB-T) or Digital Radio (DVB-T) module, our interface provides you with a fully integrated Digital Radio (DAB) or Digital TV solution where you can select stations via the Control knob on the NTG 5/5.1 system. This is the ideal solution if your vehicle was not fitted with DAB or if you would like to add Digital TV to your original system
  • RGB input for aftermarket navigation
    • 1 X Rear Camera input with automatic switching to rear camera when reverse gear is selected and Displays Dynamic Parking Guidelines (which move with the position of the steering wheel)
    • Automatically detects the rear camera signal using the vehicles CAN-BUS data
    • 1 X Front Camera input with automatic or manual activation.
    • 2 x Video Outputs for rear headrest screens
    • Picture in Picture rear camera mode retains the original Parking sensor with the rear camera display.
    • Video in motion for all connected video sources
    • Switch between Mercedes display and AV input using Comand controls
    • Customizable menu system for screen adjustment, parking guidelines etc
     
    Installation

    The video interface is fitted to the back of the screen via the plug and play monitor and power cables. Once installed, press and hold the Return button on your Comand controller to switch to the video inputs. The DAB DVB-T module is connected to AV1/AV2 if these devices are being installed.

    The interface automatically switches to rear camera when the car is in reverse gear.

    Audio
    - This interface is designed for video only. 
    - Audio is provided by connecting the video source to the AUX input (if available).
    - If no Aux is available on your car, it may need activating (Sold as Optional Extra - Please call us for more info)

    Activates the AUX function on the original Mercedes system, includes AUX in cable.

    DVD Player (Control via remote included)
    Watch your favorite movies all on your factory screen with this DVD player! Specifically designed to work with this interface, giving you a clean factory looking solution for your car.
     
    Universal Digital TV Tuner (Control via remote included)
    Gives you the Digital Tuner you desire with the DVB-T TV/Radio Tuner. A great value for money option it allows you to watch/listen to available Digital TV & Radio channels on your existing front screen navigation unit, in dash analogue TV screen or rear entertainment screens. Controlled via the remote control included.
     
    Universal Rear View Camera
    A reverse parking camera to aid you in parking manovueres and easily integrates into your factory screen with this interface. The rear camera input is displayed on the factory screen when the reverse gear is engaged.
